WELCOME TO THE
WATERING HOLE
Our Mission
Watering Hole Collective’s mission is to promote socially conscious art that engages, inspires, and cultivates conversation and action within our North Texas Community.
who we are
Think of us as exactly what our name suggests. A gathering place. A space where artists are nourished, supported, and given the time and resources to create work that speaks directly to the world around us.
What we do
It’s collaboration by design - we pair artists with community experts, not as a finishing touch, but woven into the work from the very beginning. They come into rehearsals, they deepen the story, they keep it rooted in real lives and real knowledge. Because the most powerful art doesn't just reflect the world.
It's built with it.
up next: a co production
Herzlich Willkommen! In the golden summer of 1938, two German-American teenagers meet at a picturesque Long Island camp. She is lonely and unassuming, he is energetic and bright-eyed. As their attraction deepens, so does their resolve to belong at camp. Intrigue turns to indoctrination as the youths find themselves on a collision course towards unbridled extremism. At the dawn of a world war, young love blooms in the seductive soil of pride.
A co-production with Second Thought Theatre + Stage West Theatre
Run: Second Thought (Dec 2-19, 2026) Stage West (Jan 7-24, 2027)
